The South Carolina Calvert Academy is in the process of launching a virtual charter school for the 2009-2010 school year. Through the SCCA your child will attend public school at home utilizing the time-tested Calvert curriculum. Parents serve as Learning Guides with the instructional supervision of South Carolina certified teachers, but still maintain the flexibility of an online education delivered in the home. There are several ways you can help! Pre-enroll your child/children in the South Carolina Calvert Academy. The SCCA will serve students from anywhere in South Carolina in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Parents pay no tuition for students to attend South Carolina Calvert Academy. Students are considered to be enrolled in a public school.
